Online Hypnotherapy

Personalised support from the comfort of your own space

Online hypnotherapy sessions are available via Zoom or Google Meet, allowing you to access support without travelling to my Bradford practice.

Whether you prefer being at home, have a busy schedule or find attending in person difficult, online sessions offer a convenient way to work towards positive change.

How does online hypnotherapy work?

We meet through Zoom or Google Meet at an agreed appointment time. Before we begin, I take time to understand what you are experiencing, how it affects your life and what you would like to change. Online sessions follow the same general structure as sessions in person. Through conversation and guided relaxation, we focus on your goals and build on your strengths. During hypnosis, I guide you into a relaxed, focused state, using suggestions tailored to the changes you want to make. You remain aware and in control throughout. There is no need to try hard or relax perfectly. All you need is a quiet, private space, a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Headphones can help you focus, but they are optional.

Is online hypnotherapy as effective as sessions in person?

For many people, online hypnotherapy can be a helpful option. The general approach remains the same, with sessions adapted to you and delivered through a video call.

Your needs, preferences and circumstances matter. During your initial consultation, we can discuss whether online sessions are suitable for you.

What can online hypnotherapy help with?

Depending on your needs and suitability, online sessions may offer support with:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Panic attacks
  • Sleep problems and insomnia
  • Phobias and fears
  • Stopping smoking and vaping
  • Weight management
  • Managing symptoms of diagnosed IBS
  • Habits and unwanted behaviours
  • Motivation and achieving personal goals
  • Emotional wellbeing during fertility challenges
  • Menopause and perimenopause wellbeing

Hypnotherapy can complement other support. If your needs would be better met by another professional or service, I will discuss this with you.

What should I expect from my first appointment?

Your first appointment is a free initial consultation lasting approximately 50 to 60 minutes. This is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you here, what you hope to change and any questions you have.

I will explain how solution focused hypnotherapy works and discuss an approach suited to your needs. You do not need to have everything worked out before we meet. We can clarify your goals together.

If you decide to continue, subsequent sessions will build on this discussion through conversation and guided relaxation.

The number of sessions varies according to your goals and progress. Some people notice changes early, while others benefit from a longer course. We will discuss likely session numbers and review your progress together, so you understand the recommendations and costs.

How to prepare for your online session

Privacy, comfort and control

Your privacy matters. Sessions take place through Zoom or Google Meet, and I will explain confidentiality and its limits before we begin, including circumstances involving safeguarding or legal obligations.

Please choose a private space where others cannot overhear your session.

You remain in control throughout hypnotherapy. You can speak, move, open your eyes or stop at any time. You do not have to share anything you are uncomfortable discussing.
